MATTATUCK MUSEUM SEEKING CORPORATE FOUNDATIONS RELATIONS
The Mattatuck Museum is a vibrant institution dedicated to engaging its community by interpreting the history of the greater Waterbury region and showcasing American art from the colonial period to the present.
The Corporate & Foundation Relations Coordinator is a crucial position responsible for maintaining and growing a diverse portfolio of corporations and foundations to ensure sustained and expanded investment in the Museum's mission, exhibitions, and public programs. As a key member of the three-person fundraising team, this role manages the entire institutional giving lifecycle, from meticulous prospect identification and compelling proposal writing to compliant reporting and strategic stewardship.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and brings a proactive, high-energy approach to both day-to-day administrative tasks and creative, high-impact fundraising projects.

SHARON PLAYHOUSE SEEKING TEACHING ARTISTS!
The Sharon Playhouse seeks passionate and dynamic teaching artists for an array of teaching opportunities. Seeking teaching artists with experience working with any age group, from toddlers through adults, for Sharon Playhouse classes, in-school and after-school residencies, and creative team positions for our YouthStage productions. Sharon Playhouse teaching artists are contracted on a freelance, per class/production basis, and work a variety of schedules based on programming needs and teacher availability. Weekday, weekday evening, and weekend hours are available, all year long.
The Sharon Playhouse faculty is comprised of teaching artists with wide ranges of experience, both as teachers and as theater artists. Priority will be given to teaching artists who have housing within a commutable distance to the Sharon Playhouse. Hired teaching artists will be required to undergo background checks, at the expense of The Sharon Playhouse.

Salary: Based on teaching artist’s experience and the needs of the educational program, hourly pay ranges from $40-$70 per hour.

CONNECTICUT MAIN STREET CENTER (CMSC) - PROGRAMS MANAGER
Connecticut Main Street Center (CMSC) is the expert resource for developing and sustaining vibrant downtowns that fuel our state’s prosperity. Their mission is advancing communities across Connecticut to establish and maintain vibrant Main Streets.
CT Main Street is looking to expand their dynamic team of main street and downtown enthusiasts. As a statewide nonprofit, they travel the state to provide technical assistance, assessment and evaluation, education and training, and direct services and capacity building to communities large and small. As a state coordinating program of Main Street America, our work is driven by the nationally tested Four Point Approach to Main Street Management – Design, Economic Vitality, Promotion and Organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in Main Street Management, downtown revitalization, community development, or economic development
• Skills in delivering and facilitating engaging workshops and trainings
• Experience using Zoom meetings and webinars
• Experience with research and writing
• Experience creating PowerPoint presentations
• Proficient Microsoft Suite skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in one-on-one, small or large group settings.
• Exceptional organizational skills and detail orientation
• Ability to manage shifting and competing priorities
• Proficiency in technology and social media
• Must have reliable transportation and open to working evening hours as needed to fulfill a project or other deliverable

BERKLEE COLLEGE MUSIC & HEALTH INSTITUTE- COMMUNITY HEALTH MUSICIAN CERTIFICATE
Berklee College & Health Institute is currently accepting applications for their Community Health Musician Certificate Program.
The Community Health Musician Certificate is a training that empowers musicians, educators, and leaders from all backgrounds to advance community well-being. This hybrid program bridges artistry and public health, training musicians to design and lead inclusive, music-based programs that support connection, creativity, and community resilience. This program includes two in-person weekend intensives, January 2026 & September 2026, with remote coursework in between. Intensives will take place at Berklee NYC; 441 West 53rd Street, New York, NY 10019.

SHRINE OF THE LOURDES MONTFORT SCULPTURE EXHIBITION - CALL FOR PROPOSALSList Item 1
The Shrine at Loudes in Litchfield cordially invites you to submit a proposal for an outdoor sculpture installation, as part of our upcoming 2026 Inaugural Montfort Sculpture Exhibition focusing on Contemplation <> Reflection. We are seeking talented area sculptors to create a temporary 6-month installation (May to November 2026).
This 125-acre property is approximately five miles from Route 8, just outside the town of Litchfield off Route 118, and we have allocated a beautiful and graceful five-acre meadow by the Bantam River. The exhibition will be open from dawn to dusk daily.
There will be a minimum of sixteen 20 x 20 foot “spaces” for artists to erect their outdoor sculpture.
This project aims to enrich the community's cultural landscape, bringing people outside to meditate and reflect, as well as bringing vibrant, accessible art to the public.
The exhibition will open with a public reception on May 16, 2026, and close with the Community Choice Award Ceremony on November 15, 2026.

FIVE POINTS ANNEX - CALL FOR EXHIBITIONS
The Five Points Annex is a non-juried community pop-up gallery providing affordable access to professional exhibition space. Located just one door up from Five Points Gallery at 15 Water Street, the Annex is available for rent to artists, artisans and community groups on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Annex is managed by Five Points staff and has hosted over 1,000 artists since its opening in 2017.
$400.00 per two-week period. $50.00 security deposit due one week prior to occupancy and returned after occupancy.
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required upon booking, balance due one week prior to occupancy.

YOUNG TALENT 2026 - CALL FOR YOUNG ARTISTS
The Young Talent Exhibition was a much-loved tradition in the Washington Arts Associsation's (WAA) annual programming for more than two decades, providing a vital platform for emerging voices in contemporary art.
WAA is excited to reintroduce this influential platform for a new generation of artists in 2026.
Open to artists under 30 years of age who are not currently enrolled in a degree-granting program.
Accepted Media: painting, photography, works on paper (drawing, printmaking, watercolor, collage), sculpture, ceramics, fiber arts, new media, digital, and installation.
Artwork Requirements & Submission Materials:
- Submission package must include:
- 5 images of recent work (digital files).
- A current CV (including education, exhibitions, and awards).
- An artist's statement outlining your practice and intent.
All submitted work must be original, created within the last 3 years, and not previously exhibited at WAA.
Sales & Insurance: WAA will retain a 40% commission on all works sold. Work will be insured while on the premises.
There is no fee to submit your work.
Submission Deadline: Sunday, January 4, 2026

SUSTAINABLE CT FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
The Sustainable CT Fellowship Program places highly qualified students to serve as fellows across the state’s Councils of Governments (COGs) to help cities and towns become registered, certified, or recertified with Sustainable CT during the summer. The COGs serve as Connecticut’s regional planning organizations and are Connecticut’s& county-equivalent.
Fellows will gain valuable experience working within a professional setting and will be directly engaged in supporting cutting-edge sustainability initiatives, local government operations, and regional coordination and operation. Fellows will build a deep professional network that spans across local, state and regional government, as well as with nonprofits and organizations supporting sustainability initiatives in the state of Connecticut.
Candidates must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to work independently, and be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
Requirements:
- Students must be enrolled in a post-secondary degree program or must have graduated in the most recent academic year (2025-2026).
- Students must be either enrolled in a Connecticut college or university or be a permanent resident of the state.
- Students must be located in the state of Connecticut for the duration of the fellowship. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
- Students must have maintained a GPA of 3.0. Students of all majors will be considered.
Applications must include the following:
- Cover letter, written or video (approximately 1 page if written or 2 minutes long for video)
- Resume
- Names and contact information for 3 references (must include an email address and a phone number for each reference). References might include professors, employers, coaches, club leaders, etc.
- Writing sample (no more than 3 pages/1500 words; this can be a piece written for a class)
