New Milford Officially Designated a State Cultural District!
On Tuesday, September 2nd, cultural leaders legislators, and officials from the State of CT gathered at 19 Main in New Milford to celebrate the official designation of the downtown as a Cultural District. New Milford is the 13th municipality in the state to receive this designation, and the second in Litchfield County.
DHL marketing initiative — a program that combines the marketing efforts of 21 towns through the Northwest Hills Council of Government — has set aside an initial budget of $2,500 to license locally-created stock photography/videography that showcases the best of this region.
