Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem: Death by Design Comes to the Warner

Looking for the perfect blend of laughter and suspense this November?

Stage @ the Warner has just what you need with their upcoming production of Death by Design, running November 7th thru 16th in the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre.

A Clever Twist on Classic Mystery

Imagine Agatha Christie and Noël Coward collaborating over cocktails in a 1930s drawing room—that's the delightful spirit of Death by Design. Written by Rob Urbinati, this wickedly funny murder mystery whisks us away to an English country estate where nothing is quite what it seems.

The story follows the Bennetts, a theatrical couple escaping to their countryside retreat after a catastrophic opening night. But relaxation isn't in the cards when mysterious strangers start appearing at their door. And when murder strikes? Enter Bridgit, the sharp-witted Irish maid with an unusual fascination with homicide, who takes it upon herself to crack the case.

Local Talent Takes the Stage

Our community's own performers bring this mystery to life, including Darrell Cookman, Jazzy Cores, David Macharelli, Adriana Medina, Marilyn Olsen, Christiane M. Olson, Ron St. John III, and Gabriel Sousa. Director Jonathan Zalaski, who brought us Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella and Matilda The Musical, leads an impressive creative team in crafting this theatrical treat.

Mark Your Calendars!

Performances run from November 7th thru 16th, with tickets starting at $32. An ASL-interpreted performance will be on November 16 at 2:00pm; call the box office for details.
