Announcing the NWCT Arts Council's New Website - New features and benefits, a new look, and lots more to come!

We are excited to share our new website and its features with you! Thank you for your patience while our site is under construction.
Check out the new and upcoming features below:

What's New:
  • New Look - we have updated the look of the website to be more visual and easier to navigate. It will now be easier to find resources, events, and information about the Arts Council.
  • Event submissions - Your events will appear on the Arts Council’s Calendar, as well as a network of other websites in the region with one single submission! We are continuing to partner with CivicLift/DiscoverLitchfieldHills.com, and have adopted their online calendar layout. Please continue to submit your events through the Arts Council's site using your CivicLift login. If you haven't yet, please create a CivicLift account.
  • Blog - we have started creating blog articles to feature artists and relevant local topics in the arts. Members will have the opportunity to be featured in dedicated posts and interviews. Check out the full blog here!
  • New innovative method for sharing local art via curated shows in our Digital Gallery - currently featuring "Resiliency," art, music, videos, and writing created during quarantine.
  • Easy access to COVID-19 Resources, listed on our home page menu and updated regularly.
  • Easy sign up for our Weekly Email Newsletter (no login required) - sign up to stay in the loop about local events, calls for artists, grant & job opportunities, and more.
  • Economic Development Information
  • Community Wellness

What's Coming Next:
  • Interactive Member Portal - Arts Council members will be able to create a personalized profile, interact with other members, ask and answer questions on a peer-to-peer platform
  • Membership auto-renewal annually
  • More curated blog articles to build a source of information about arts and culture in our region
  • Digital Gallery - we plan to give regular opportunities for local artists to show in our digital gallery! Keep an eye out for our next call for artists!
  • Digital mall for Arts Council members' shops and promotion during the holiday season.

We look forward to sharing more new website features and member benefits as they are developed!
