Spring Break - "The Week of The Young Child."
Work Together Wednesday
Work together, build together, learn together. "Alone I am a force, but together we're unstoppable!" When children build together for example, they explore math and science concepts and develop their social and early literacy skills.

Join us for some special team work activities - Camp MOE reunion, community mentors from The Torrington Railroad Club.

Highlights of the day :
10:00 - 10:30 : Let's read "3 Billy Goats Gruff" can we act it out together?
10:30 - 11:30 - STEM: Team bridge building. What material is the strongest? Should we give up if it falls down?
11:30 - Kids On Stage: 3 Little Pigs
1:00 - 3:00 - Pop up Craft: "These Hands" by Margaret H. Mason read aloud. Followed by fingerpainting together. What can you build with your hands? Can you add to the KidsPlay handprint rainbow mural?

All day - Maker Space Challenge : I've been working together on the railroad: build a train car, then decorate the box, put it on the tabletop train track.
