Kristina Newman-Scott, Director of Culture, Connecticut DECD
Marty Goldin, Owner/Developer, Goldin Management
Steven Zarrella, Senior Vice President, Northwest Community Bank and
Chairman, NW CT Chamber of Commerce
Elinor Carbone, Mayor, City of Torrington
Representative John Piscopo, CT Legislature 76th District
Lynn Gelormino, Executive Director, Warner Theatre
The Panelists will discuss the results of the study in the context of their own sector's work in the region. Analysis of the study's data reveals the level of economic activity as well as the number of full-time jobs the arts industry in our region generates. The study’s findings also show how much tax revenues the nonprofits arts and culture sector produces for northwest Connecticut and our state.
The NW CT Arts & Economic Prosperity 5 study, conducted by Americans for the Arts, was made possible with support from the Northwest Hills Council of Governments and the Northwest CT Community Foundation.
