DIRECTIONS/PARKING
 
From the South: Thomaston/Waterbury
Route 8 North - Take Exit 44 off Route 8. Take a left turn off the Exit ramp onto East Main St. Follow East Main St. to the end (4 traffic lights). Get into the far right hand lane and take a right turn onto Main St. The Arts Council at 40 Main Street is 10 yards on the right – 2nd Floor.
 
From the West:  Hartford and surroundings
Follow Route 44 West - Route 44 becomes Route 202 West in Avon. Follow 202 West into Torrington, turning into East Main St. At the end of East Main St., the road divides into four lanes. Get into the far right lane and take a right turn onto Main St. The Arts Council at 40 Main Street is 10 yards on the right – 2nd Floor.
 
From the most northwestern CT area & Northern NY:
Take Route 4 East into Torrington. At the second traffic light take a right onto Migeon Avenue. Follow Migeon until it connects with Water Street. Follow Water Street to the bottom of the hill. Take a left onto Main Street. The Arts Council at 40 Main Street is 10 yards on the right – 2nd Floor.
 
From northern Connecticut
Take Route 8 South to Exit 44. Go straight off the Exit to the first traffic light. Take a right onto East Main St. Follow East Main Street to the end (4 traffic lights). Get into the far right lane and take a right turn onto Main St.  The Arts Council at 40 Main Street is 10 yards on the right – 2nd Floor.
 
Parking
Street parking is available on Main Street (meters until 6 p.m., except Sunday). There are also municipal parking lots located next to the Public Library and across from City Hall on Main Street.
